While there are certainly endless links that I could post about the Invisible Children debacle – and those I certainly won’t post ; ) – I think that this one, an article by Nigerian novelist Teju Cole, is particularly appropriate for our class.  Cole contrasts the Invisible Children campaign to the Nigerian fuel subsidy protests of earlier this year, and also discusses what it means to write from the perspective of a novelist.
